| Managed by the Waterbeach Club for
several years the this water is now wholly owned by the club. |
| It is managed solely as a Day Ticket
and Match water |
| WAC members receive benefit from a £2
concession on production of a club card. |
| In the near future WAC hope to add to
the already high existing high stocks. |

| Magpie Lake is open all year by
day ticket on the bank [£6/£4]. Two matches are fished per week,
when the water is closed to casual anglers, although some pegs may still
be available - look for details on Magpie gate.

General rules for
MAGPIE LAKE |

Anglers over 12 years of age must have a valid EA rod
license before starting to fish. |
|
Anglers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult |
|
Ensure all nets are dipped prior to using. |
|
KEEPNETS may be used at
the fishery ONLY at the Manager’s discretion. |
|
Barbless hooks only, Maximum size 14. |
|
Fishing Dawn to Dusk only. |
|
RUBBISH
must be removed from pegs when finished
even if it isn't yours! |
|
|
|
DO NOT USE any of the following |
|
Floating Baits. |
|
Tins on the bank. |
|
Beans
or Nuts. |
|
Barbed Hooks. |
|
And |
|
DO NOT LEAVE RODS/ POLES UNATTENDED. |
|
NO KEEPNETS UNLESS IN A MATCH. |

winner!! Literally!!] |
| Pleasure anglers can get day
tickets on the bank, but on match days please enquire with the match
organisers before starting to fish or check on the Gate notice
board. |

|
Litter and nylon
line is both unsightly, dangerous to wildlife and can cause the loss of
a fishery. |

|
All discarded line,
tackle, bottles and other litter MUST
BE REMOVED from swims by Club
Members whether dropped by the member or not. No tins to be
brought to any Club Water. |
| |
|
Any
Member found leaving litter in their swim will be required to explain
their actions to the Committee and may have their Membership withdrawn. |
